Frasca, a longtime staple of downtown Boulder’s fine dining scene can add another award to their collection. Food and Wine chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson was recently given the James Beard Foundation award for best chef in the Southwest. With all of the pomp and circumstance of a major award cermony, the Beard award is often coined the “Oscar” for food industry pros.
