Had to sip to see…

On Thursday, a colleague and I decided to hit the streets of Downtown Denver and check out the DNC buzz on the street.  We dropped into a very cool wine store called Sip.  They have a wine tasting every Thursday from 4-7, a nice way to wet your palette and introduce yourself to some new varietals you might not have pulled off the shelf.   They were comparing and contrasting Italy to France…wow where does one begin with that?  Well, as the wine goes…I think we liked France, maybe it was Italy, well we for sure agreed that we like wine…a lot.  And we liked Sip a lot!  Jim, who was holding down the fort, being expert wine pour-er, plus vino extraordinaire tipped us off that they deliver to your door (in metro Denver) and if you call ahead with your order they will meet you curbside (that’s a deal, since parking can be a drag downtown) and as the luck of my blog would have it, they are super dialed into the DNC!  Sweet!  Stop in and chat with any of the knowledgeable staff, you are guaranteed to leave with a bottle of your favorite grapes or theirs.

They are already slated to deliver around 1,000 bottles to an event during the DNC (looks like I should try and score an invite to that)!  Check out Sip and see for yourself!  Located at 19th and Market.
