Don’t forget our hundreds of “grab-and-go” type restaurants on th 16th street mall. These are perfect for quick bites during your busy day. Try some of our favorite locals like, Chipolte, Noodles or Tokyo Joes. These are healthy alternatives to fast-food and quick alternatives to the sit down restaurant.

Well, of course the grab and go is great, but that’s not really exclusive to Denver now is it? I bet there is a Toyko Joes in most cities or at least a place where you could get a chicken and rice bowl, perhaps even in Ankeny, IA! But I’ll bet there is no Mizuna in Ankeny? So, think outside the box, leave the chains for your daily lunch run at home and enjoy all Denver has to offer…I’ll bet you won’t even miss your rice bowl!

For larger parties (of which there will be alot of come the DNC) I suggest Buca Di Beppo. It has no problem accomodating large parties, has great food, atmosphere and is only a couple blocks away from the Pepsi and Convention Center.

…And when you go to the restroom you can learn Italian! I do agree, this restaurant does “Big” well, great space and menu for groups, especially hungry groups! Nice tip, thanks!
